Meet the makers: the small European workshops behind TrucuTu

Every product at TrucuTu starts in a small European workshop. No anonymous factories: real people, in real places, making things with care. Here are some of the makers behind our shop.

Estonia: leather, skincare and candles

In Estonia, a family-run leather workshop founded in 1994 handmakes our wallets, card holders and key cases in genuine leather. Also in Estonia, family workshops handmake our natural, vegan skincare in small batches, and a family-owned brand creates our refillable powder candles from vegetable wax.

Lithuania: leather goods built to last

Our zip wallets, card holders and compact wallets are handmade in Lithuania, in natural leather. They are made to be used every day for years — and to get more beautiful with time.

Latvia: wood and cotton for home and kids

In Latvia, craftspeople turn Baltic birch plywood into wooden toys and furniture for children, from a baby play gym to a play desk. Other Latvian workshops sew our waffle towels from OEKO-TEX certified cotton, and handmake vegan cosmetics for a small family brand that supports animal shelters.

Finland: pure and simple

A family business in Finland handmakes our charcoal and birch soap and multi-purpose balms from 100% natural ingredients, in small batches.

Why it matters

Buying from small makers means knowing where your things come from, supporting independent craft and choosing products made to last. It is also why every product page at TrucuTu tells you the country where it is made.
