Why we only sell products made in Europe

When we started TrucuTu, we made ourselves one simple promise: we only sell products made in Europe, and we tell you exactly where each one comes from. Here is why.

You know who made it

Behind every product in our shop there is a small European brand or workshop: leather goods handmade in Lithuania and Estonia, natural skincare from Estonia, Latvia and Finland, waffle-cotton towels and bathrobes sewn in Latvia, spa textiles from Estonia. Each product page names the country, so you always know what you are buying.

Made to last, not to be replaced

Many of our makers work in small batches and by hand. Some go further: our mini shoulder bags are handmade in Estonia from high-quality leather left over by the furniture industry, so every bag is one of a kind. Our towels and robes use OEKO-TEX certified cotton, and our skincare brands are vegan and cruelty free.

Faster, simpler delivery

Our products ship from warehouses inside the European Union, so there are no customs surprises for customers in the EU, and most orders arrive within 3–8 working days after dispatch. Orders over €50 ship for free.

Supporting small makers

Every order helps keep an independent workshop going. That is the idea behind our motto, Ad Maiora — Latin for “towards greater things”.
